Born in Salamanca Spain
Got interested in Ham Radio at age 12 and was EXTRA Class at age 14. Instantly drawn to chasing the CQ WAZ awards.
Joined US Navy in 1984 and retired in 2007.
Operated as YI9BAA and 9K2/N4BAA overseas.
I am happily married. We have 5 kids, 2 grandkids, 4 dogs, 21 chickens, 5 acres and 6 towers! I am busy!
Became CQ Magazine's WAZ Manger in April of 2022.
